Cone Beam CT Scan Technology not only aids us with diagnosis and treatment, but it can also be used to help doctors with prosthodontic treatment planning. The technology allows you to obtain an exact distance between the crest of the bone and the inferior alveolar nerve or the floor of the maxillary sinus. This can be helpful in planning for bone grafts, implants and periodontal surgery.
